The New Jerusalem Bible is a bold translation, and it's best read in the hardcover edition. While everyone expects something different out of a Bible, the combination of translation and features have made this one my favorite. The Translation This translation does not stand in the Tyndale tradition and lacks the familiar English Biblish/5().
